Ingredients
large red onion
halved and thinly sliced

large carrot
sliced 1/2-inch thick

garlic
peeled and crushed

strips orange zest

orange juice

orange marmalade

sweet paprika

teaspoon
salt

teaspoon
dried thyme

beef chuck cut into large chunks
Instructions
In a slow cooker combine onion, carrot, garlic, orange zest, orange juice, marmalade, paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme.
Add beef, turning to coat.
Cook on low for 6 hours or until beef is very tender.
With a slotted spoon, spoon beef and vegetables onto a platter.
Place flour in a small saucepan and whisk in pan juices.
Cook over low until lightly thickened, about 3 minutes.

If you don’t have a slow cooker use a foil covered tray in an oven at 100c.
